Hitman Story so far
the hitman story can be hard to follow, especially with 2 of the games being rough flashbacks. the following is the order in which Agent 47, Tobais Reiper, recieved his hits and carried them out.
1999 - 2000
the levels took place in this order, but most of the precise dates are not known. they happen between 1993 and 2000
1999- Training (codename 47). Number 47 wakes up in the asylum. Ort-meyer, whom 47 does not remember due to a mind wipe, lets 47 escape into the real world, to see how he does.
2000 - one year after training - Lee Hong (codename 47) Agent 47 recieves his first mission from 'The Agency' . it is unknown how he got to work for them. his mission is to assassinate red dragon leader Lee Hong, this is divided into 4 missions, in order to weaken lee's influence enough to let 47 kill him.
2000 - Pablo (codename 47) agent 47 is dropped into columbia in order to find a downed airplane with an indian idol aboard it, bring it to the natives, they then give him access to Pablo's fortress, where 47 eliminates him and then destroys his drug lab. divided into 3 missions
2000 - fabian fuchs (contracts) 47 has to kill one of his father's brothers(fabian)i n Siberia, to prevent him from making a nuclear bomb to give to franz fuchs (47's father) . this level is called bjarkov bomb.
2000 - franz fuchs (codename 47) without fabian's nuclear bomb, Franz Fuchs, a terrorist, gets a dirty bomb to destroy a hotel hosting a UN conference meeting. 47 must take the bomb and take out franz in a large hotel.
2000 - Rendezvous in Rotterdam (contracts) - 47 sneaks into the flamin' windmills to stop a journalist from incriminating the gang leader, thus preventing a future gun deal which will reveal boris's location.
2000 - Boris (codename 47) 47 infiltrates the gun smuggling ring in order to find out where boris's boat is at, finding his boat, he sneaks onto at kills boris, and deactivates boris's nuclear device. divided into 2 levels.
2000 - Dr. Kovacs - (Codename 47) the agency finds out that all of 47's previous hits were done by the same man, and he wants one more done. 47 heads back to the asylum he escaped from 6 years earlier to kill Dr. Kovacs, the Dr. that administered the drugs to him. while there, 47 learns it was all a trap to lure 47 back, and he is ambushed by SWAT team. 47 then learns that he is in fact a clone, and that his answers lie in the basement.
2000 - Ort-meyer - (Codename 47) 47 heads into the asylum basement, only to find that ort-meyer has a cloning facility, and he's made 10 more clones! these are 48s, and they are faster and more obedient. he also learns that all of his previous hits were in fact done to kill his fathers, so no one else would know of him. 47 of course proves to be the better clone, proving that free will conquers all. after the death of all the clones, 47 enters a back room. ort-meyer thinks that 47 is actually a surviving 48, so he runs up to Taser him to wipe his memory. 47 then shoots ort-meyer, and while Ort-meyer has body armor on, he is so crushed that his own son shot him, he died of a broken heart.
2000 - asylum aftermath - (contracts) following the events of codename 47, Hitman must escape the facility he just killed everyone in. of course, the SWAT team called for reinforcements.

2002 - The events of Silent Assassin
2002 - Hitman 2 - silent assassin begins. hitman has begun a life as a helper in a monastary, but boris's brother learns of 47, and kidnaps the priest at the monastary in order to bring 47 back into the business of killing.
anathema - 47 travels to italy in order to find the priest, only to find out that hes already been taken away by russians.
St. Petersburg Stakeout - 47 must snipe a certain russian general
Kirov Park Meeting/Tubeway Torpedo/Invitation to a Party - the other generals got scared and 47 must take them out
hayamoto - 47 must find a yakuza leader's castle headquarters, and assassinates his son and places a traking device in his body in order to find the location. 47 then kills hayamoto and steals a missile guidence system.
Charlie Sidjan - 47 must kill charlie and his twin brother just to be sure he gets the right one, then hack some computer software that works with the missle guidence
Middle east - 47 must now steal the actual nuclear missles, firstly by finding their location, killing a UN official that knows the location, then picking up the missles.
India - it turns out there is another clone out there who looks just like 47, and he's stolen the missles for a cult. 47 must travel to india and kill the cult leader, who is undergoing surgury
Sergei Zavorotko - has given 47 all the previous missions, and the UN asks to have him taken out. 47 goes back to St. Petersburg, to kill Sergei, but sergei is onto him, and Agent 17, a lesser version of Agent 47 has set 47 in a trap. 17 is then killed and 47 heads to gotranno to rescue the preist he did this for to begin with, killing sergei in the process.
2003 - 04
2003 - Meat king (Contracts) - 47 travels to romania to kill the meat king, who got off innocent for kidnapping. 47 is supposed to also rescue the girl, but she was killed.
-Beldingfeld (contracts) - the beldingfield family hunts Humans, and they need to be taken out. rescue the hostage too.
Manuel and Fernando Delgado (blood money) well respected wine makers in the town of Santa Rosa. But what looks like a family business is in fact the perfect cover for their cocaine factory. Under the cover of a public unveiling of a new wine label infiltrate the mansion, kill Delgado and his son and escape by seaplane. (taken from hitman forum as I have not played Bloodmoney)
March, 2004 (Bood money) - the Paris Opera is preparing for a new season. But that won't stop civilians from touring the new renovations and historic parts of the building. All this activity should provide an excellent cover for your operation tonight. Eliminate Alvard D'alvade and the ambassador Delahunt, a personal friend to the famous tenor.
March, 2004 - Hunter and Hunted (contracts) - Finishing up Curtains down, Hitman is leaving and is shot by detective fournier. 47 escapes to his safehouse and begins to halloucinate all the missions from 2000. a doctor comes by and saves him, and just in the nick of time during a SWAT raid, hitman escapes his safehouse and kills the detective that knows too much.
following that, hitman travels to america, to escape this new threat called, the Franchise.....
